Smolov Squat Day 1. 7/25/16

Today was the first day of routine 2 of the smolov squat routine. Remember all these numbers are based on my max of 340 pounds on squat. The idea of this routine is to increase  your squat 30 plus pounds on 13 workouts. Its very intense and the weight is heavy. Now, lets get to it.

Squat:

135 for 8 (warm up)

185 for 8 (warm up)

225 for 5 (66% of max)

255 for 5 (75% of max)

3 sets of 4 reps at 290 (85% of max)

1 set of 5 at 290 (85% of max)

That Concludes the squat part for smolov. Everything after I added to help supplement and increase my squat.

Deadlift:

135 for 10

225 for 10

275 for 8

315 for 5

365 for 3

405 for 1

Hamstring Curl:

25 for 12 each leg

50 for 10 each leg

75 for 8 each leg

That was my workout for today. It took me just over an hour and a half. I had 6 minute rest between each squat set and 3 minutes between each deadlift set. The Hamstring curls were done one after the other just add the weight and go again.
